Steeple Chase at Appleby Magna for Mulberry Homes

This site was located on edge of a village in North West Leicestershire. The brief was to create as site with strong traditional character that was appropriate to its setting. Following analysis of the local area a bespoke range of housetypes were created for the site. These were heavily influenced by local vernacular architecture, and together with careful layout design, helped to create a distinctive sense of place. High quality materials were used in the build and careful consideration relative to the hard and soft landscape treatments completed the high quality appearance, ensuring that the development merged sympathetically into its village setting.

The scheme won a Good Design Award from North West Leicestershire Council
